Are you qualified to apply?
Entrepreneurial Accountants - There are a lot of talented accountants in the world, but a smaller percentage of people also have the drive and passion required to be a successful entrepreneurs. Have you always wanted to own a business?
College Education - All applicants to this program must have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business.
National Certifications - Are you an Enrolled Agent (EA) or a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)? One of these requirements is necessary to join the FIA Franchising program.
Accounting Firm Experience - Knowing how to work as an accountant and understanding the ins and outs of an accounting firm are two different things. Applicants should have 3+ years of experience working in an accounting firm. While passion is important, it’s not more important than skill. Applicants to this program should be technically proficient.

If approved, we’ll send *FDD and *FA initiating a required 14 day waiting period
Invite to attend an in-person meeting with FIA Management & Franchising team
Credential check - EA, CPA, etc
Background & credit check
Approval through our system
*Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) – once received, we have 14 days before we can accept a contract or payment.
*Franchise Agreement (FA) – 7 day waiting period. Can run concurrent with FDD.

Your signup fee covers set up, training and support, documentation, contracts, and all other fees pertaining to the beginning of your new business.

Yes! All Fix_it Accounting franchisees will have their own territory, but that won’t inhibit you from marketing outside that territory as long as you don’t overlap with any other Fix-It Accounting offices.

Your royalty payments cover access to our Fix-It Accounting systems and a call center that will provide ongoing support for tax and business questions.

The Ad Fund is a cooperative advertising fund for franchisees. It supports the work that we do to advertise the FIA brand, which benefits the franchise system as a whole.
